Rob and Kees

Afterwards Kees found my “needs research”quite hilarious. They just wanted a nice coffee table. And they asked for a small showcase in it. “For autumn scenes, and stuff like that”. But I asked them for example if the table needed to be strong enough to be able to put ones legs on it, while watching TV. And I made a remark about video tapes laying around. “Oh sure, they can maybe be stored in the table”.

I designed a table with four drawers, a glass part in the top, and a higher part, like a platform. On the side of higher part, the couch is also higher.  The round shape of the platform and the glass matches well with the round shape in the big sofa.

Kees and Rob feel that real expertise was used to materialise their wishes. They could never have thought of something like this.
